i think the most amazing thing with this is thanks to power curve im still averaging 10ltrs per 100kms

they do make it hard to get off, dunno how many times iv stalled the car since iv had it back, and you cant drive at under 2 grand or it just bunny hops and shudders so its not the most fun driving round town and going over speed bumps other than that they're fine
dunno when i'll be racing, still got a few things i need to finish up, needs all new rear diff mounts, think theres a crack in one of the suspensions mounts and one of the suspension bushes needs replaced as well, also got to find a place to give it a warrant at some stage, just didnt have to time to take it to the place i normally go to in christchurch before i left, so yeah could be awhile before i get to the track but i should be there sometime this year

nah i have learnt from it, running the bottom and middle covers, wasnt able to get a top one while i was in christchurch, and not to worried about it right now, the car barely gets driven which is a shame
actually i was thinking about getting 4G63PW
dont really see the point in changing the radiator just yet, the stock one is doing the job fine and like the old saying goes "why fix it if it aint broke"

well im sick of what i consider to be a lack of power now, hence im looking at the next stage and after remembering that i built the car to run a 10 and having a talk with ns spec guys just down the road im looking at going with a new top mount manifold with a masterpower t-70 q trim and SX or aeromotive fuel pump with surge tank and braided fuel lines
expecting this to be started fairly soon

NS SPEC.. i have heard there manifolds are strong!!!
yeah and they have done alot of work on quite a few high power cars as well as few nzpc cover cars so they should be the right choice but im gonna talk to a couple of other shops around aucks before i make any decisions

ive heard a few not so good thing's about them and there masterpower combo's
not saying dont go there, but maybe look into the garrett range of turbo's as the masterpower dont seem to last

Have you got it certed for the new motor yet? Haha.
Surely you need to give it a go with the power it has before you need to aim higher, might do a lot better than you thought - and hell, there isn't even a 10 second club anymore, you need to aim for 9's to stand out hahahah

dont tempt me haha
nah the power it has doesnt scare me anymore which means its time for more and seeing as the turbo's at its max then it means upgrade time
and no its not certed yet, i dont even think its 2000kms on the new motor yet haha

id go for a gt35/40 garrett turbo if i was you
well proven turbo, makes easy power, and has good spool up,would be even better on a 6 cyl i imagine
can always get it fitted with a larger comp wheel through steve murch if you max it out, which isnt a easy thing to do

Put it this way - a couple years ago masterpower was like buying a chinese trademe turbo, just a couple of stores/workshops have jumped onto them.
For how much $$ you've spent go with what he said, something known to be good.
I think chris got to 650hp and 9.4 with a 35/40? That shouuuuuld be enough for you... I hope!
